Stacey E. Aldridge, LCSW
Stacey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) currently working in a non-profit group practice, Grace Christian Counseling Center. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment to see Stacey for therapy please visit her website. Stacey works with GCC in their Canton, Mississippi and Vicksburg, Mississippi offices providing individual and couple’s counseling to adults and adolescents age 14 and up.
Stacey learned about stigma when she began working with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Mississippi. During her undergraduate education at Belhaven University, Stacey joined NAMI MS as an intern and after graduating she was hired as their State Director of Consumer Programs. At NAMI, Stacey also heard about the concept of recovery from mental illness for the first time. After 2-1/2 years with NAMI, she entered graduate school at Jackson State University to pursue a Master’s of Social Work. As she worked toward her dream of becoming a therapist in private practice, Stacey never lost her passion for working to eradicate society’s stigma toward mental illness.
In fact, Stacey feels her calling in life is to combat stigma whenever possible!
Stacey lives in Ridgeland, MS with her husband Jon, and their three dogs. She is a proud member of the LGBTQ community and believes that access to mental health care should not be impacted by a person’s race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nation of origin, or any other defining characteristics. In her free time she likes spending time outdoors, makeup artistry, listening to podcasts, and binge-watching British crime dramas.
